Tesla's radiant energy switch. Nikola Tesla used a mechanical commutator switch for all of his radiant energy experiments because solid state switches were not available back then. A lot of his inventions used high voltage frequencies, and some of them were using a frequency of around 5 kilohertz. The switch used in this video is using a signal generator that can produce a signal from 1 hz to 150k hz, and it begins to operate at only 3 volts DC. The signal generator is providing the chosen frequency to the solid state relay which will respond and oscillate at the same frequency of the signal generator. At the output of the solid state relay, a battery is connected in a series with the load. This switch can work with the wireless energy transfer coils, with a pulsed DC magnet motor, with an ignition coil, and with a tesla coil. Also, it can produce different frequencies through a speaker so as to break a wine glass at the resonance frequency and many other experiments can be performed with it. The frequency generator requires 3.3 volts to 30 volts DC to operate. The product comes with a slot and connections for a 9 volt battery, but also with separate connections for a power supply instead. The solid state relay can handle up to 25 amps of DC current and up to 220 volts DC. It also requires a DC signal from 3-32 volts DC to begin operating, and it has a very nice aluminum heat sink that helps use high voltage and high current. The output of the solid state relay goes up to 220 volts DC. Everything is already connected together on a piece of plexiglass. No batteries included. The actual product may slightly differ from the images.
